Laytrix Ltd has seen its decommissioning technology shortlisted in a recent Opportunity North East competition which will see the team from Laytrix partnering with experts from Jee Ltd to showcase the potential of the system for decommissioning of previously installed pipeline bundles.

Commenting on the recent success, CEO Andy Stevenson, advised that the response to the technology was encouraging and that feedback from the end client Spirit Energy will be incorporated into improving the design for a variety of purposes beyond those which it was initially developed for. Further adding that there were potential opportunities in IRM / well intervention further enhancing the functionality of the system.
